Chief Information Officer’s
Chief Information Officer’s roles and responsibilities are as follow:
- To pioneer changes through the alignment of Pelan Strategik JTKSM 2021-2025 with Pelan Strategik Pendigitalan KSM 2021-2025 and Pelan Strategik Pendigitalan Sektor Awam (PSPSA) 2021-2025;
- To ensure the usage of information and communication technology’s (ICT) policies, standards and best practices;
- To coordinate the promotion of ICT in department’s service delivery system;
- To carry out innovation through ICT application, infrastructure, and safety;
- To assist the Director General in ensuring that the provisions under Dasar Keselamatan ICT JTKSM are understood and complied with by all users;
- To ensure that the ICT safety requirements are carried out and enforced;
- To coordinate and manage training plans and awareness programs relating ICT safety such as promotion on Dasar Keselamatan ICT as well as risk management and auditing;
- Being responsible over any matters relating to the department’s ICT safety.
